  Baba's is one of the very best restaurants in Nelson. They serve incredible, authentic, uncomplicated Indian cuisine that is full of flavour. The family who runs it is sweet as can be and I have always found the service absolutely wonderful . My kids have loved Baba's for years . My little girl was famous for loving their spicy Tomato Shorba Soup when she was just a little fair-haired toddler. The food is well-priced and always reliably delicious . I can not say enough good things about this restaurant . I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian food..

  I was visiting from washing D.C with my family and came across this gem of a place called Baba's. We could get the aroma of Indian food as we were walking on Baker Street so we decided to go for dinner out there. We were a family of 5 and each of us ordered different dishes. Each dish was so flavourful and it was the highlight of our entire trip. The service was excellent!!
  It was one of the best Indian we have had in a long time. Whenever we visit Nelson we will definitely be back!

  We loved this restaurant. The food was served up amazingly quickly and it was very tasty. We had the Indian platters and initially I though it didn't look like a lot of food, but in the end it was quite filling and just perfect. We were just passing through Nelson, but next time we are through here, we will stop again.

  The food they serve is not good. Don't even have a clay oven to make Naan bread/Tandoori chicken
